My learning Goals for Term 3

What?

I have been identifying my literacy goals for the start of term 3

My reading teacher is Mr rule

My writing teacher is Mr rule

So What?

My handwriting goal is to I can link letters neatly and consistently.

My spelling goal is to complete list 6A to 6B

My writing goal is to write about a moment in time using a picture prompt

                                use a variety of simple, compound and complex sentences

                                use a variety of verbs and adjectives to make my writing more interesting, and

                                precise nouns

My reading goal is to pronounce words the right way the first time

My blog goals are  to  add more detail to my blog posts

                            to proofread and edit my blog post before publishing

                            to use a variety of ways to show my learning (text, photos/images, video)

                            to complete all the set blogs for this term

                            to do a ‘Can Do’ blog about an achievement, some other learning or something I am proud of is my art in art attack week.

Art Attack Blog week 5 term 3

In art attack we learned how to a  make object look far away and to put objects in the foreground, mid ground and horizon.

C.A.R.E Values blog, week 8-9,term 3

WHAT?

My goal is to work towards my silver and gold certificate and to beat Tyler to my gold at lest once in my time at school .

SO WHAT?

My strengths are in being a active thinker,this is because I am good at general knowledge, I'm good at mathematics and I like a challenge.

• I have achieved my bronze certificate.
• I have 8 highlights until I achieve my silver certificate.

NOW WHAT?

• I want to get my silver and gold because I want to get the full set of certificates.
• I am going to work towards not talking on the mat while the teacher is talking and trying to be better at writing better story's so I can get more ticks.

reciprocal reading

I am learning about reciprocal reading.
I have learned reciprocal reading involves students being the leaders.
Everyone is expected to read and everyone takes turns of being a leader.
I enjoy reciprocal reading because I like that everyone gets a turn at being the leader.

my student led conference

 My student led conference was good because my mum and dad  liked to listen to what we were learning about and they were very interested.
The part I was most proud of was my integrated learning because I was conferdent  that it would work well and we had been doing a lot of it lately.

What is my learning goal ? Not to talk on the mat wail the teacher is talking.
What have i learned ? How to consistency work on task and i have learned more spelling words.
What is my next step ? Starting to use linking in my handwriting.

READING
What is my learning goal ? Read harder books and try to get words right now first time.
What have i learned ? How to break down words in to smaller words that can be made by the word
What is my next step ? To calibrate in a team to read harder books and news articles.
